Plutarch writes, "This Brutus, about whom I am now writing, having tempered his natural disposition with discipline and philosophical training and roused his earnest and mild character by imulse to action, is considered tohave been most aptly fashioned to virtue..." What do you think he means by "philosophical training"? How could the study of philosophy make one virtuous? (idea: look up the meaning of the world philosophy) I think when he said "philosophy training," He was trying to say that he is training his mind to become a philosopher.
If anyone disliked Brutus, what was the reason?
No they are not. First of all, Judas was plotting to arrest Jesus, not kill him. Second of all, Judas was doing it for the money, not for fame. Third of all, Judas was a follower of Jesus, not a business partner. And last of all, Judas was Jesus for a very long time.
One of his positive traits is that he didn't change the law of Rome, but added new and better ones. He was a good leader and was calm in catastrophic events.
Plutarch was loved by many people in Rome. He was one of the greatest writers of all time. He also studied about the Egyptians, which drew the attention of Rome and Greek citizens, which was also the main intelligence of the cities. His skills of writing grew bigger, and bigger. Instead of staying out of the house for his wealth and fame, he stayed at home and took care of his family. Taking care of his family was his main goal. The reason Plutarch became famous, was not just because of his writing skills, but for his love and care for his family.
