The freedom and flexibility to educate our children is our top priority. Below are some items the kids listed as part of their Wish Lists or our homeschool bucket list!
We've tried to get in touch with our local Girl Scouts Council and in spite of the ability to form a troup of 6 kids, we need to wait on the local schools in our area if they will facilitate a club in their schools. If anyone has information on how homeschoolers can participate in the Girls/ Boys Scouts of the Philippines, please let us know!
Since partaking in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, Roux has been asking to be an active member of a parish. The nearest churches in our area are chapels within other elementary schools. If anyone knows how she can be part of a choir or serve as a reader/ commentator without having to travel far, please let us know!
The kids have a list of experiences ranging from museums, camping trips, nature hikes, libraries and arcades they'd like to go to or classes to take.
The thing about homeschooling, we don't have a library of our own laboratory and that will be quite an investment. If you happen to know where we can get a deal for these items, or have any of these lying around, or perhaps you might be so kind to consider giving the kids any of these for their birthdays or Christmas instead of toys. Thank you!
