Tandang Sora was a national hero because she helped those who were fighting the war during the Spanish-Philippine War. She was an old woman in her 60s. But she served her family, her friends, and most importantly, her country. People in the Cry of Pugadlawin were grateful for her service. She died happily when she was 104 year old! She lived a long and happy life serving for her country. In her honor, people named a town after her. It is currently Metro Manila. I used to live in Tandang Sora!
